As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a curious and passionate individual to join our team as the Head of Business Development (f/m/d) and drive our business forward. 

What Will Your Role Be

As Head of Business Development, you will identify, evaluate, and drive strategic growth initiatives across Spreadgroup. You will lead high-impact cross-functional projects, develop new business opportunities, and support the leadership team in making data-driven strategic decisions. 

This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to directly influence the company's growth agenda. 

What You´ll Do 

• Lead and execute strategic projects with company-wide impact, from ideation to implementation 

• Identify, assess, and develop new business opportunities, products, and revenue streams 

• Conduct market, competitor, and customer analyses to uncover growth potential 

• Drive business case development, strategic planning, and investment decisions

• Collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Technology teams

• Support M&A, partnership, and strategic cooperation opportunities where relevant

• Translate strategic concepts into actionable initiatives and measurable outcomes 

• Prepare decision-making materials and recommendations for senior management

What You´ll Bring

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in:  

  • Management Consulting,  

  • Business Development,  

  • Strategic Project Management, and/or  

  • E-commerce or digital business environments  

• Proven track record of leading complex strategic or cross-functional projects.  

• Experience in identifying and developing new business areas, products, or growth initiatives

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive initiatives independently

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach

• Strong business acumen and commercial understanding

• Experience with data-driven decision-making and business case development

Nice to Have

• Experience in platform businesses, marketplaces, or e-commerce ecosystems 

• Exposure to corporate strategy, venture building, partnerships, or M&A topics 

• International work experience
